This "Great Minnesota Holiday Get-Together" features a one-mile route through the fairgrounds decked out with more than 1 million lights, a 100-foot illuminated tree, icicle and art installations, a gingerbread house, and other attractions.
And what would a trip to the State Fairgrounds be without some State Fair food? After driving through the event, people will have the chance to buy a selection of Fair food favorites.
Tickets are $46 per vehicle - select a date and time (it is timed for every 15 minutes, with the drive-through taking about 40 minutes). Buy tickets online at www.glowholiday.com. The hours for the event are 4:30-9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 4:30-10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Each night of the event will benefit a different community organization, with nonprofits receiving $2 from each ticket sold on their designated night. The GLOW Holiday Festival will also mark different holidays, cultures and traditions with several special nights, including Amity Night, Latinx Night, Hanukkah Night, Indigenous Peoples Night and Kwanzaa Night.
This will run for 46 consecutive nights from Nov. 19 through Jan. 3.
