‘Teed Off’

Sixty Cargill alumni (men and women) participated in the Cargill Retiree golf league this year, which was held Thursday mornings from March 14 through November 14, weather permitting. An average of about 20 golfers per week played a total of about 594 rounds of golf over the 29-week season. The schedule normally runs through the end of October but continues beyond that if the weather allows.

Joe Fournier booked several west metro golf courses again this year. Wayne Koester helped Joe by managing line-ups with handicaps and setting up prizes for winners with the best scores and putts each week. Other golfers jumped in to help as well to ensure an enjoyable experience each week. Looking forward to the 2025 season!

Sidekick Theater is CCA’s New Site for Plays

With the closing of The Old Log Theater this summer, CCA members tried out a new venue for our fall theater event at The Sidekick Theater, located in the Minnesota Heritage Center in Bloomington.  After a delicious chicken dinner buffet, we enjoyed the comedy "Over the River and Through the Woods."  All venue reviews were positive, so be watching for 2025 events at Sidekick Theater.
