Why does CCA and Cargill track volunteer hours?
- Enhance Cargill’s and Cargill Alumni’s reputation in the community
- Enhance the visibility and reputation of CCA within Cargill and help maintain funding for the CCA organization
- Make decisions on whether to keep and/or add CCA-sponsored events
- Help tell the story of how CCA impacts the community and aligns with Corporate Responsibility team priorities
What volunteer time should I submit?
CCA Sponsored and Organized
These volunteer opportunities have CCA Project Leads that will report your hours. No additional tracking is required.
Cargill Sponsored and Organized
As there is no CCA Project Lead, you should submit these hours. See directions below on how to submit your time.
Independent Volunteer
There are many ways that individuals volunteer their time and we appreciate all you do. If you are volunteering for a 501(c3) nonprofit, you should submit these hours.
How Do I submit my hours for Cargill Sponsored and Organized or Independent Volunteer volunteer activities?
The best way is via email at CCA Admin (cargillcaresalumni11@gmail.com)
Include the required info: Impact area, Organization Name, Service Date, Hours and comment on the type of work performed.
Please submit hours monthly or quarterly so we can track member participation.
